I've got two sets of 12w6v2's. One set is hooked up to a MB 1500.1 in a sealed box that sounds great. My second set is hooked to a Hifonics 1600d in a ported box that sounds even better. They do get loud and the lows are nice. My Orion HCCA 10.4's get a LOT lower, but... the 12w6v2's are VERY nice.
I paid $200/ 12w6, so two for $300 isn't a bad deal.
Buy one pair use them, SELL them and compare. It's really the ONLY way you'll find out what's better FOR YOU. Just a thought.
