Hey guys im trying to make up my mind on what i want to get for the summer to thump the trunk

My understanding from the website is that the (2) 13w3 will move more air and be louder with almost the same clarity. . .Is this true??

I can pick up (2) 13w3 nib for $200 cash or i can pay $300 for (2) 12w6's

What do you guys think would be better

Are these the W6's or the W6v2's? If there their the v2's I would go with those. If their the W6's then their basically the same sub as the w3, but the w3's have more cone area and newer technology so I would go with those

Yes the the w3s are w3v3s and the w6s are w6v2. . .

The jl site says one 13w3v3 moves as much air as 1.25 12w6v2's so that means 2 13w3v3 should be louder than 2 jl w6v2s. . . .according to the jl site

is it really worth another $150-$200 dollars to goto the 12w6's

neither...jl doesnt get really loud...more sq oriented...for a less than u were gonna spend on the w6, u can have my 10" sonance v2's...theyve got great sq and get pretty low as well

yea but i have made up my mind i want one of these sets of jl audio subs i like their durability and the sq is fantastic. . .so all im asking is will the 13w3 have a little more punch in the back like the jl site has said???

I dont think u are gonna notice 2 much of a difference either way. Save your money and get the w3's because they are great subs, but are more sq than spl, and get a nice amp jl1000/1 or rockford t1000bd or audioque 1200 maybe...gl
