TC Sounds Oem 10 rubber surround came off.

Even though i remember old threads about this, nothing came up when i searched.

I bought a TC Sounds OEM 10 back when they came out. Needless to say, 6 months later the rubber surround partly came off and the subwoofer sounded like it was hitting a piece of paper all the time so i stopped using it and sold my subwoofer amplifier.

I am trying to get it running again now though, and was wondering if there were any solutions to this problem.

ca glue the surrond to the cone easy fix..

That happened to mine too a couple years back, luckily I took it to TC Sounds and they replaced it on the spot. PSI or FI might be able to recone it if you wanted to send it out.

just buy some rubber adhesive from teampsi great stuff and daves the man

ca glue will work best. goto ur hardware store and get gorilla super glue its rubber toughened, very strong..

happened to me several times on my oem 10.

use a ca glue. the gel works best.

do not miss align the surround;the type of surround at high excursion is very sensitive...

if its the honeycomb cone, make sure it has not come apart and your only glueing it to the top layer..
