2 12's?

there was some guy on realm of excursion forums that was a noob and bought 2 12'' R's and the whole works, equalizers, yellow tops. and people douted he could hit 150. the R's are great if dont wanna break 150

I thought 2 12's were the answer.After sleeping on it would I be better of with 2 15's,would 5 cubic feet be enough for sealed or ported? Will my current 1100 rms at 1 ohm power to 15's. Or should I start a new thread"2 15's,but what" little more help on this subject.
