2 12s that play low $600 budget...ideas?

Well I have decided to drop the 4 10s I got and get something that will play low and get loud. Going more for sound quality over SPL though. Not doing a actual SQ setup...but meh.

Prefer something that weighs less than what I got right now. The SEs I got weigh 22lbs each+the weight of the massive box...probably around 170lbs-200lbs right now as a rough estimate...not 100% sure on that though.

Only thing I can think of is 2 12" FI Qs with all options tuned to like 28 HZ.

I got 3k watts @ 2ohms I can push right now...that will probably be downgraded to around 2k watts in time. So subs must be able to do 1k-1500 each. The 4 10s get nice and loud and its fun demoing it to people that aint used to a somewhat large amount of cone area and power. But meh...not often I have it blasted loud. So yea ideas? Wont have em ordered till I get my tax returns.

Space wise yes sadly. 15s are just too large for my trunk. Only way I can do that is if I build the box in the trunk...which is just too much trouble lol. The 4 10s in my trunk right now is the max cone area I can get out of a ported box. Spent a good monthish to figure out what I can stuff in my trunk.

2 12 Skar VVX-12s get low and loud. Although rated at 600 RMS they can take much more as I had a customer put 2 on a SAZ-3500 @ .5 ohm and didn't have any problems.

I'd try the SSA subs. They look very nice for the price range. And I've heard nothing but good things about SSA subs and customer service. If I were in the market for subs, SSA would be on my list.

I would say my eclipse to subs but wrong oh load. There are a ton of subs out there in that price range that would work well for you.

I can build you a custom pair of BNIB DC LVL4 12's for that budget that will sound great and get low.
