I had 2 tsw304c's (12's) under my back seat in my 93 chevy. I raised the seat one inch and I figured I had 2.4ft3 total. I can send pictures of the box if you want, and if I can figure out how to put pics on this thing. It's possible to do it in a weekend. You might want find out as much different ways to mount the subs as u can. MIne were aiming @ the bottom of the seat and occaisially they'd slap the bottom of the seat. drove me nutz
i got a set of box plans from a guy on another forum and tweaked em alil bit i'm goin ported //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif about 1.75cu ft net each side give or take... it'll be tuned somewhere in the mid 30's

Are you raising the seat at all? I am very curious about this because i have an 03 SSS which is an extended cab and i can see how you can get 1.75cuft out of it without pulling the seat out or raising it a ton. Could you PM me the plans so i can see how you have it set up?
