2 12'' type R vs. 1 AQ hd

Ok...I just put my new amp, Hifonics 1650, 1100x1@2 ohms on my AQHD3 12, dual 4. It is the enclosure specified by AQ @ 40hz. It is fairly loud for 1 12'' but I feel bad for the sub. I know it needs more power. So, the dilema...would I be better off with a different 12, dual 2 that will get more from my amp? The hard part is finding one that will work well in the enclosure...really do not want to build another enclosure. What would your recommendations be? I have thought about an RE SX or maybe a BL? I am not sure if the tuning would be too high for the BL.

The other thought is go for 2 Type R 12's. I have a nice enclosure for 2 12's, tuned to around 32hz. I could do 2 dual 4's and end with 1ohm final, giving each around 700-800.

Thoughts?
