The alpines all the way. But it does matter what kind of power ur running to them. The alpines will sound better and be louder, but a prefab is WHACK and ported will give u more bass if ur looking to have something that slaps.

Amp - it's okay, could be better but there's nothing wrong with it

Subs - Type R's are good subs, but you want two Dual 4ohm subs with that amp, not dual 2ohms, and you also want a nice ported box, not a prefabricated sealed one

- Comps are okay subs, but they're really not worth a whole lot man, if you could do the alpines on that amp in a ported box, you'd be set to go

IMO Kicker Comps do not really compare to the Type R. I think its a closer macth up when the Kicker CompVR vs Alpine Type R
