2 12" subs

Hi, i have a honda civic si that is in need of a system. I just want it to sound good, and boom when i want it to. I was thinking mtx thunder 6000's but i dont know. Or some rf he 12's. Something that can handel the sony monoblock 1600 watt amp. Thanks For ur time.

Uhm dont get mtx they ****.... the he's are ok but they are kinda expensive which rf always is...i rec. 1 Solo-Baric 12 L7 which is like $150 on ebay with a long vented box also on Ebay for $50 with those 2 together u can get the boom u want :]

Yes.....disregard the post the above me. MTX 6000's are actually a decent sub if you can get them at a good price....they're certainly not amazing in any aspect, but they get the job done.

As far as your question....what are the specs on the amp, in terms of how much power it puts out and @ what ohm? Also, what is your price range for the subs?

Well, i want the subs as cheap as i could get them. And the amp is

500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms

900 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

Class D design

50-300 Hz low-pass filter, 12 dB/octave

bass boost (0-10 dB centered at 40 Hz)

speaker- and preamp-level inputs

gold-plated connectors

requires 4-gauge power/ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
