Then why? that much metal makes a huge amount of displacement. Those subs say 700rms. I feel like they could take WAY more. Anyone got any info on these for power handling?
Er sorry. i dont mean to blow up your thread. I cant buy cause id only want one and ohm load wouldnt be right for my amp. Ill shut up >.

I had 1200 watts on my 15". These sound great! Straight into a sealed box and needed no equalization. No messing around to get it to sound good.

Final load would be 1.5 ohm

I might be interested (running a VFL 150.1 amp with upgraded electrical so 1.5ohm on that amp would give the GTI's some decent power).
What is the history on these subs ? (how did you acquire them and did you run them in your car ?)

I don't suppose you would be interested in a trade for a pair of w15 GTIs? One is a mk1 the second is a mk2? Identical mechanicaly, just cosmetic differences. I got a different car and the 15s won't actually fit in the trunk. Lol
