also, which one has more SQ? plz dont recommend another sub, ive narrowed it down to these 2.

I've liked both of my HDC3's I've had, don't know about the DC's.

Depends on how much power you have. The dc's will probably sound better but they wont handle the power that the aq can.

the DCs sound better, much more natural sound.. the AQs can take more abuse and get louder but you need a larger box higher tune and more power for them to shine..

This. I've read around that in terms of SPL, the HDC is closer to the lvl 4XL

the AQ can get retarded loud.. I've done 148 with one in 4.75 tuned to 40..
