2 12 inch wild beast had them tested at audio store tested at mostly around 3.1 ohms 750 rms will it be safe to hook one up to a brand new amp or will i just fry or blow the amp? Spider seems firm they are cadence brand old school, audio tech said I should use them as paper weights.

4 ohm single voice coil sub is this a safe idea the tech told me the subs probably fried the last owners amp that is why he sold them to me, I think the tech is just trying to sell the subs in the shop to me.... SO safe idea from the info provided or not a safe hook up
