2-10's vs 1-12in Sub

Hello, I've been reading the forum for a while a just joined. I searched but couldn't find any solid answers to my question.

My system consist of:

Nakamichi Head Unit

PolkAudio db6500 seperates [FRONT]

PolkAudio db650 2-way with Xover [REAR]

2 - Kicker KX600.4 amps [TRUNK]

1 - Kicker C12 Free-Air 12" Sub

2 - Xtant A1040 10" subs in a Q-Logic Box

Right now I have the Kicker sub installed but I just bought the xtant subs and the Qlogic box. I'm worried that I may lose some depth going with the smaller speaker but I've been told that 2-10's will hit harder and cleaner than 1-12

Could you guys please lend your expert advise?

PS - One Kicker Amp is power the cabin speakers and the other will power the 2 subs.

i'd imagine that the 10s would definately hit harder than the 1 12

just throw it in there and see what happens

decide for yourself

cleaner has nothing to do with it, it is really a point of do you want more volume ? if you not that worried about blowing the doors off the single 12 is fine
