2-10s port or not to port?

not neccessary. it helps when dealing with an enclosure that's a little too small, but you're better off to just build it to the proper size to begin with.

port vent holes are not always the easiest to mess with and handle, if the car trunk is big enough and materials are sufficient, why not make a box with a port slot on the side, easier and i think its more efficient...

ported boxes are all about gettin loud, not sound quality, if you like the quality of the music your listening to, your not gonna want a ported enclosure...
