im curious to know how loud 2 10 inch w6 can get with a little over there rms rating. im no longer getting the jl audio 1000/1 and the 2 12 w6s cuz there gone now. And now i only need to trade my psp wit 2 games and 40 dollars for these 10 inch w6v2s. im jus curious to know hows the spl on these. im assuming it wont be to loud and jus get really nice in sq. but ive had a 15xxx and 2 12 inch w3v2's. and i loved how loud it got. so my question stands wut am i to expect in spl levels compared to the 15xxx and or 2 jl audio 12" w3s. help is greatly appreciated

ive never heard them but i was told they hit pretty hard someone i know just sold two with his amp for 400 because he really needed the money i wish he would have told me first i would have got them and sold them for more

2 ten W6 or 1 15 XXX. Man dont u think ur kinda downgrading? From what I hear the XXX is on the same playing grounds as the W7. Now especially that its a 15. I think the XXX has more spl. It could depend on the amount of watts too tho. Maybe if u dont have enough to power the xxx right the w6s might be better.

the 15xxx took way to much space in my trunk... i kno it seems like kinda downgrading in spl in which i dont kno in how much. but it seems like ill be upgrading a little in sq. and since id be able to do a 1.75-2 cf box id be saving alot of room opposed to using 4 cf for my xxx

well then it might not be too bad then. Because in trunks, if the box takes up alot of space and it doesnt leave anyspace for the waves to travel back it could possibly sound like a big rattle or muffled bass coming from the rear. If the new setup will leave more space it could be cleaner and more direct. Also there is more cone area on 2 12s so the spl might not be too far behind especially if ur using the same amount of power.
