2 05 re xxx 18's how many cubes should these be in

I was thinkin about puttin them in 6 cubes each off of a saz 3000d at 1 ohm. Any suggestions on what is recommended for these subs,

6 cubes would be bare minimum. Personally, Id put them in closer to 8 cubes each. RE use to like to say 6 cubes because it made the driver look more appealing to a wider variety of people.

16 cubes, (4) 6'' full length aeroports if you're tight on space.

Box really needs to be 17-18 cubes before port, woofer, and bracing displacement.

Sounds fun. I got a handful of these motors and plan on building 2 18''s or 3 15'' 05' XXXs for my next daily.

I ran mine in 6.75 cuft tuned to 32 Hz and they were awesome with 1600 watts each.

Ya, I'm doing 2 18's for my daily off a sundown saz3000d. It's going in the back of my suv, dimensions are 48W x 19-22H x 46D (That is right up to the tailgate in my suv so prob will do it a few inches from that for port)

Go with 100-120 sq inches of port. Should sound great. Im still trying to get an install going with my two xxx 15's after buying them new in 05. lol
