2/0 welding cable for power?

It's really overkill for 1 battery. I've used it in the past and its a pain because its really thick, the connectors are huge, and you're only using 1 extra battery.

I've used it before and it was hard to route through the vehicle.

If you can deal with the drawbacks then it will work for you.

Oem cables are readily available for most vehicles. Check rockauto. Anything less will be a future headache.
