2/0 welding cable for power?

Hey i was thinking about using this 2/0 welding cable to run an extra battery to the back. I dont know if this would be as good or better than knu 1/0? Has anyone used this before? Its going to be alot cheaper than the knu flex 1/0.

It's really overkill for 1 battery. I've used it in the past and its a pain because its really thick, the connectors are huge, and you're only using 1 extra battery.

I've used it before and it was hard to route through the vehicle.

If you can deal with the drawbacks then it will work for you.

I used it very good wire, just a little stiff compaired to Knu, but well worth the buy, It is larger than Knu, Hyperflex, and stinger.

you can also run welding cable on the outside of the vehicle due to its sheathing. I have done several installs that way.

Yea im ok with it not being as flexible... I think i can work with it. I like the fact that its bigger than knu and cheaper though.

Just be careful, I bought some 2/0 welding stuff recently and its actually smaller than Knu 1/0 but JUST A SMALL AMOUNT. Considering the price... seems like a good deal to me.

I was thinking back running 2/0 to my back also since Im adding another amp soon, just a highs amps, but if their that stiff than I dunno.

ive had no problems with any size welding cable even 4/0.also the 1/0 knu is only bigger because the casing is thicker not the cable!

That is NOT true at all. I have 2/0 welding and 1/0 Knu. The Knu has more CONDUCTIVE area than the 2/0 welding cable.

I wonder how that 1/0 and 2/0 AWG Black Welding Cable RADAFLEX on the cable yard is?? Its pretty cheap.
