1st time buying speakers, need help.

well i have the rockford 3ways and i like em. powering them off the deck will be fine but give them 50-75watts and they open up, not to mention they dont like 75hz on down. i cross mine at 80. and as for a cheap amp for them i picked up my rockford prime two channel for 120 from a dealer. and it handles fine hell id sell you mine for 100 shipped to your front door since it's sitting back in the original box right now

you recommend the t1s up front and the punches in back, winky? Why not punches all around?

Well I started with punch coaxials all around it was ok but I wanted to try a comp set. So I tried the punch comps didn't like them so I picked up the t1 comps from a friend and loved them. But I'm not knocking the coaxials I own 3 sets but up front I rather comps

Sounds like the T1, Punch combo is the way i'll end up going for speakers. thanks.

Uhm... Why not spend more money on a single decent component set for the front instead? Or get This upfront and something else in the back?

I don't have more money, but if it would be that much more beneficial, I can be patient.

Well the rockfords are a good starting place. Image dynamics, hertz, re xxx, are better but price rises and they want more power than just the headunit most of the time they want at least 100 watts or more
