1st Install Thread...Please Help :)

Ok...this is gonna be my 1st real install of components, subwoofer, and amp in a 2000 celica and I already have an HU. Im pretty sure i will be using all my wiring from knukonceptz (power, ground, rcas, speaker). I just had a few questions hopefully you guys could help me out.

1) Can i run speaker wire along with the power or do I have to run it on the other side with my RCAs?

2) Will 4ga be enough for Arc 4150xxk?

3) Is 16ga speaker wire ok for my comps(~100W x2) and sub(~300W)?

4) What lines of knu wire would you guys recommend for power, rca, and speaker? (best, but not over kill)

I ran speaker wires up both sides of the car. One by the rca and one by the power. 3 inches seperates the speaker wire from the power, no whine. Use 4ga for the zeus 6400, I use the Kolossus Kable. RCA's, stinger from ebay 20 buck for 17ft, crap too short used a 6 ft highend homeaudio interconnects, actually better than the car stuff to extend. Again no whine. 12 Gauge, I think, monster cable speaker wire.

yes, run them anywhere you like

plenty, but if you ever want to upgrade in the future... you might be a little short.

That wire is fine. Some people will tell you to use 12awg for the sub, but you're really not running enough power to make it worth it.

get whatever you can afford. Their products are laid out in a very comprehensive manner.

you can probably use 8ga wire for that power, it would save some money. but if you have the cash, i would go with a 4ga kit. make sure you have a good ground, and hide them wires. good luck.
