Hey, in 2 weeks I will be attending my 1st competition and wanted to get some info on how to do it I know you are supposed to keep it under 80hz. Does this mean I got to disconnect all my inside speakers ? another question is how high should I put the volume and the gain do i crank the gain all the way up or keep it at the normal settings? should i turn my bass all the way up on my head unit. I just don't want to mess up so it would be real helpful if i can get some advice thanks for that help

are you competing in db drag. if you are here is a tip. it really doesnt matter if ur inside speakers are off or on.....turn your gain on ur amps all the way up as well as the bass on ur head unit and ur subwoofer gain on the head unit. when u start off at the comp start with the volume fairly loud and keep turning it up as this will help you get higher decibel readings...........
