I would recommend a decent Coaxil set. I can see no need for the extra money and installation required to put components in the rear. The coaxils in the rear of my vehicle can be heard by the rear passengers.

Do you wish to use JL speakers or are your options open?

Clif Designs QX5250

JL Audio XR525-CXi

Diamond Audio M351I

All good choices.

I was thinking of there XR650-CXi, I just dont feel right mixing audio equiment, and this is my first try at this.

Mixing audio is a good thing. You may find that although JL makes good equipment, there could be better equipment out there that you like more.

I have a pretty mixed system install of more than 5 brands. All put together to my tastes.

The XR650-CXi are the same as I listed. I thought the rear speakers were 5.25.

Ease of install. Waste of money. Yes a component set will normally sound better, but when it comes to vehicle sound imaging having a powerfull comp set in the rear will throw it off.

Remeber you're going to want the volcal's to come from the front of the vehicle.

In the end it is your choice and if you like the sound of the vocals (filling) the cabin area then purchase the rear comp set.

Oh and you can want them all the same size all you want. But what will fit is a different story.

Do you go crazy with odd numbers? everything needs to be uniform in order and even???

Uniform and even makes it easy and simple. I work in financial management. the easier the numbers, the lower the stress.

Nothing I use (or will be using) matches. Just the way i'm doing it. If you want all the same brand, give it hell. But you usually can get better sound and performance out of mixing this brand and that brand in order to find your musical nervana.

if you have like 5 grand to spend i would go with something better than jl like a set of rainbow profi vanidium comps up front and then the soundline coaxials in the back both run off an arc 4150xxk with the w7 in the back. but thats just my opinion...

Actually that was like 2 yrs ago, and no none of that. I got a job and worked my *** off. Now I'm in college and I'm working harder then ever. I dont want much, a nice car, nice computer, mp3 player, 50inch tv for my room with a PS3 and Xbox(might get 360), and my Sharp stereo system with the 800watt sub. Im a fairly simple guy, I dont spend tons of money on clothes, I wear nothing but sweat paints and white ties, Im just an electronic geek.

worked ur *** off doing what? cuz if u can throw 20 g's down and another 4 g's for rims, and 2 g's for tires tell me where to go. i know your not workin some 9 dollar an hour job, hell.....u gott abe making more than a G a week to pay the note on that plus insurance and all your little goodies.
