1st car and stereo system

Battery- Optimum Red Cap, Im gonna cancel the EQ. I want a Dual encloser for the W7's, a nice looking one like the Audiobahn ABP122N box, know any?
You meen a Red top right? Good choice.

Enclosure - Any prefabricated enclosure is going to ****. You need to have a shop build you one. Or build one yourself.

Do you plan on porting this or running it sealed?

Great car:)

Either choice it will sound amazing. With a sealed box you will not have as much output but it will have better sound quality. And they take up less space.

A ported box will be much bigger, have more output (tunning low will yield very nice SQ).

Personally I love ported box's...

Ok, so whats a good company to have hook all this up, Tweeters? And to the guy above, I put up half the money and yes Im buying the system, 22 inch rims, low profile tires, and what ever else I need. I grew up on welfare and section 8, far from spoiled man.

Sure. But finding a local audio shop you can trust would be your best bet. Most places do a half *** job and when spending your money you will be pissed.

Try to go to shops and ask them questions. Find out if they know there stuff or if they are at least competent. Look at some of there installs first.

Just make sure to research the shop you go to.

Or install it your self:)

Actually that was like 2 yrs ago, and no none of that. I got a job and worked my *** off. Now I'm in college and I'm working harder then ever. I dont want much, a nice car, nice computer, mp3 player, 50inch tv for my room with a PS3 and Xbox(might get 360), and my Sharp stereo system with the 800watt sub. Im a fairly simple guy, I dont spend tons of money on clothes, I wear nothing but sweat paints and white ties, Im just an electronic geek.

Ok, wouldnt it be better to get all components? I wanted the extra tweeters for the back seat
Not really. Being that it is in an SUV and you are running some powerful subs. It wont hurt to much. It might pull the image towards the rear of the vehicle, And normally you want it to come from the front.

Running speakers/components in the rear is mostly personal taste. Will you like it and do you want your passengers to be able to hear it from their seats as well.

I'm pretty much the same. Just with a lesser of a budget for my vehicle. Rent, Insurance, Gas, Food... All that kills it.

For why? Tweeters near your head will a) get annoying and b) cause hearing loss. ( I hear high frequencies cause hear loss faster)

I am kinda in the same boat with that all one company. I want to be sure my stuff works together. I know in engine building, products are machined to work with certain other products. Hodgepodge nonsense does create effectiveness. Perhaps car audio is different. I'll be tuning into this thread to see comments about using all one company.

Well for starters, there wont be anyone, and I mean anyone in my jeep except a select few, no that Im stuck up but alot of people want to hang cuz you got a car(anyone that came from ANY nieborhood should know what I mean). But I do want the speakers to be evenly heard in the front and back, so what do you recommend? Here are the coxails for the back JL Audio XR650-CXi, is that good?
