1999 Jeep Xj Panel Sub!

I just finished sinking a 10" in my rear cubby hole panel. I need the whole back of the Jeep to haul Helmets and Coolers cuz we ride fourwheelers all the time. I had two 15"s and just got tires of no room. Here is what I came up with. I still need to make an amp cover and make a grill for the 10". It is surprising loud. I cant handle no bass at all so this works for me.

Man its nice to have sound but still all the room. I built a mini truck once with eight 15" JL W3's and Im more happy with this install:laugh:

Thought about doin that also. Thats where my spare tire is at. Not sure what I will do about the amp yet.

they already got a hide away box for the explorer that they are selling so... it's been done before but this one turned out nice

they already got a hide away box for the explorer that they are selling so... it's been done before but this one turned out nice

Yeah they make a box for a Jeep like this but its made out hard plastic and rattles like garbage. Plus they only got 0.4cuft of air. They come with a junk legacy sub and cost like 175.00 Forget that. Yep I thought about doing that. I mean there is no way the amp will even get warm anyhow. Its 1ohm stable and only running at 4ohm. I may just wrap that thing up and hide it under the seat. I could always make a little box for it and put it under the seat and mount a couple fans in it. I need to figure it out.
