Please help I am going NUTs trying to install an aftermarket headunit in my 1996 Cadillac Deville , it does not have Bose. I know someone out here has had the same problem. Please can someone help? :crap

I need help with everything I brought the wire harness for this car and the power wires are wrong I know this car has theft lock and "other" electrical "issues" but I need to know pretty much everything about installing this h.u.? please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

youi have to relocate the factory radio to install another HU, you have to buy to wire harnesses extend the wires and put the factory radio somewhere else in the car, ie under the seat or in the trunk.

Is that the only option blake? They dont make a Data Retension Harness for that Car?

nope i had to do it on another deville. You have to buy the factory in and out plug make an extension and wire it in. I tried everyone looking for a DRH, Metra/Best Kits and even Scocshe NO ONE.

i seen the class2 data retention harness for this model car on another website. Is that what I nee?

ok look for a GMRC03 from metra it is supposed to do what you need. Local car audio shops, and circuit city have them.

I would say take it to an installer, seems like too much for you to do by yourself since you are apparently unkknowledgable in this field. Better to get it done correctly and professionaly, then do have it done wrong by you, and then paying extra for someone to fix it later.
