I was wondering what your guys' thoughts were about the 3rd gen (I think that's what it is) tegs were.

Anyone own one? How are they for systems? Easy to run wires? Cargo area?

Give me some feedback! Im looking for a new car and found an '01 that's really nice so I was wondering what owners thought about them.

Also.... how are they mechanically? I know they're easy to mod but what about common problems youve had etc?

I've done alot of searching I just wanna hear some first hand experiences with the car.

the only hassle i have with installing my system was running the speaker wire through the molex. But even with my modest system i still feel my system is top notch. the integra do have high theft rate and the first and foremost thing you should do is relocate the hood cable and install a nice 2 way alarm system with all the bells and whistles.

the only problem i had with my stock car was the radiator leaking at 100,000 miles but thats natural and the cap seal leaking oil which i havent fix yet. if you want a ton of info, go to team-integra.net

We had a 1990, I know its not in your year range...

It was a RS, hatch. Nice car, really fast, handled well.

Only issue we had with ours is the dumbfvck who owned the car before us was driving down a hill, and hit the shifter and put it into reverse or something, and messed up the ***** really bad, it would drive, but some times you'd stop and it wouldn't start off again, would slip bad. But that was not the cars fault, the stupid idiot who owned it. Plus he got angry at the car, and beat the front window out... again, not the cars fault, he should have smashed his skull in, fvcking retard.. anyway. I'd kill to have a 1990 integra again.. it handled really well.

It did start to rust on teh back fender, where the quarter panel ends and the plastic bumper starts, and a bit on the hatch, but it was easily fixed.

Oh BTW, if you ever get into an accident with it, a guy backed into the quarter panel of the car, and the truck he was driving had a hitch that made a nice dent in the quarter, the quarter panel was around $2000 IIRC, because it goes from the A pillar along the sides of the roof, the whole area behind the door and the rear fender and along the door, thats all one piece.

Again, I'd love to have a low mileage one if I could. Not too big of a fan of the four circular light one, but I'd still buy one if I had the chance, I love them.

We never had a stereo in ours though, can't help you there.

I worked on a second gen (identical to the third, except different head lights.) and it was easy to do everything, except for the doors. But you just need a drill and you're good.

They dont get very loud for audio systems and all the extra weight ends up killing the fun factor, but other than that they are awesome.

silly boy my buddy had two solo x 10's and a single 2500d and was doing 150.x on the TL at the dash, they can get loud just not easy crx loud. my RSX is a strong 3db down from my CRX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Acura > * //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the 4 doors have a little more room and they still look nice. My old room mate has a 97 4 door in blue with 17" wheels and it would look **** nice if he took care of it. Stereo should be easy to run. All the panels come off pretty easy and its really no different than anything else I have worked on.

94-01 Integra's were (still are) great, but like someone already mentioned, VERY VERY high theft rate, whether its parts or the whole car.
