What is "The Sh!t" for wheel cleaning??

Problem:

First off i left my rims on for the winter season, dumb, i know, but you sometimes gotta learn the hard way. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif So what i have is 17'' gunmetal rims with a polished aluminum lip. I went to clean up the lip after i washed my car today, i used mothers mag and aluminum polish, i hear it was good but it just doesn't take off the Mag Chloride, road grime and all the crap away //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Is there anything out there you guys can suggest to remove this without doing 12 coats and polishing it all out for an hour and a half a wheel? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I have gunmetal rims with the same polished lip you have. I also used to be an automotive appearance speacalist. ( fancy name for detailer) go to your local parts store and get meguirs diamond cut. If I remember correctly its #10. Take aregular towel like the one you use to dry your *** off after a shower. Squirt a nickel sized ammount of #10 on your towel and work your way around the wheel. The towel will turn black from all the dirt. Take a brand new microfibre and wipe off the residue. Continue until you are satisfied. You can also use the same technique and materials to use on your headlights and taillights to clear up the yellow haze. I have to do this evrrytime I clean my car. And it always turns out fantastic.

the Eagle one is made for clear coated alloy rims. Just spray it on, use a soft wheel brush to loosen the dirt, wash off. Easy.

That diamond cut seems like a lot of work.
