1971 Mustang Convertable??

Alright, I have a customer that brought me his 71 mustang. Nice lookin restore. Anyway, he wants it to look as factory as possible. Bought a new HU that has that classic ISO look. So he wants a front stage, which currently is a blown center speaker mounted under the dash. So I was thinking kicks, but there isn't really much room, plus the parking brake is really in the way. I suggested we mod his doors and put them in there, but he doesn't want to cut up his doors. SO now I was wondering if anyone has had experience with a classic mustang, or has any other suggestions.

not sure that would work out, the switch for the brights is down in the kick area. Not sure you could mold it so that you could still fit the speaker, without making your foot do un-natural things to hit the switch.
