diffrence between 5.25 and 6.5 in the front.

my car calls for 5.25" in the front. im lookin to get some components for my system and i hear a lot of pl say that 6.5" are better since i have such a big setup. what is the difference if they run at the same power(150 rms)?

Im no pro but i would assume the 6.5's would have more mid bass.
