hey but the BTL's should handle 6k for burps!..but not on music.(not an expert just saying from what i seen and heard)..i seen steve give his BTL's 5k to each BTL and get what?. 150+db(like around 154-155)..why doesnt this dudes BTL's get near that?..shity install maybe?..

you need a sub that has at least a 4 inch coil...a solo x will not take 6k rms...there loud but they cant take it daily

Flip side to that is just because it has a 4" coil does not mean it will take 6k daily. That is a ton of power for any sub to take.

Dont be haten on the powa of smd! Your right, nothing has been proven with it, but based on the track record of who built it, im sure it will handle gobs of power... With that said, good luck getting any sub to take 6k though.
