18" sub space?

[BoomBoxStereo 10+ year member]

given my available trunk space, and my Diamond Audio D1000.1 (at 1 ohm [1100 watts]), is this enough space to run an 18" firing back?

trunk: 16" deep (at shallowest point [top of rear seat]), 40" wide, and 22" in height to the top of the seats (not including headrests)
