18" Solo X..

As we all know, the Kicker's Solo X 18" is rated at 5,000 RMS and 10,000 Peak.. What would be some good AMP setups to give it the right amount of power..? I just wanted to get some ideas..

I'd run 2 amps strapped to each channel...

Like 2 DEI 1100d's to each channel...

Or maybe an Orion 2500 on each coil...

Their Crown amp? Yeah, Im sure that would work.

Id be tempted to strap a few Mmats amps on there and give the sucker some power to chew on.

DVC 1ohm or DVC 2ohm, are the coil configurations available I believe.

Id be tempted to strap a few Mmats amps on there and give the sucker some power to chew on.

by chance which Mmats amps were you talking about. I wasnt aware that the Mmats amps were strappable. I have two fo teh 1400.5s, havent hooked them up yet because they were both DOA when they got to me, so i wasnt to impressed from the beginning. Hopefully they are decent though

By "strap" I meant "throw a massive amp on each coil"...not strap two amps together and power the sub. Sorry I wasnt all that clear.
