Yep, concrete from that's 1/4" thick. Has no real right angles inside, so the pressure is distributed throughout the enclosure. HT guys have been doing them for years. And they're a TON lighter then an MDF or BB enclosure. My BB enclosures are 200+ pounds each...

I'd be more concerned about the damage it will do to his house, seriously.

My 15's have broken light filaments, knocked out my projector bulb ($300 accident //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif), and knock shit off the walls all the time. No they're not made of concrete. It is a concrete pouring tube for pouring columns and such. It's made of a dense and thick cardboard material and the cylindrical shape helps increase rigidity.
