cant wait. hopefully you have more luck than what you got now (thats a reference to the SSA "spl" sub thread and what you said in there)Also to add I've got good power going to it... 260amp, Big 3 in 1/0 gauge and double runs of 1/0 gauge to a couple G31 Optimas.... no voltage drops
I'm gonna be working on a few more designs from what has been talked about here.
The build is defiantly going down this weekend.
Ya, its all about tuning. My low low notes killed his, but 28hz just cant compare to 33hz when on the meter. Marks new SSA subs are no joke, those things are honestly loud as fck! But if I had the same tuning, with a good design, I would be louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifcant wait. hopefully you have more luck than what you got now (thats a reference to the SSA "spl" sub thread and what you said in there)
usually you want to stick with the ports width. i know snoopdan though has said in the jeep that the closer you get, up to about 2", the louder he is on the mic.I'm working on some designs with subs up and port back, whats the rule of the thumb for the amount of distance you need between the port and the rear hatch?
I've got a 14"x14" port I'm working with, but I only have 6-7" of distance between the hatch and port.
