No vid's yet, but Im contemplating to keep this design or try something else before I invest the time into creating a templete to completly wall it off and wrap it with black pleather.

Right now only songs that are screwed/chopped up really hit hard, the amount of flex I get with Late Night Tip by 36 screwed and chopped is quite ridiculous. It moves my shirt and pants about 4-5 feet away from the vehicle.

I'm thinking about trying out something like this...

45"x37"x19"

Port is 6"x35.5

213sq.in. of port area

12cuft without subs or bracing

33hz

The port would face up toward the roof of the rear hatch, If I want to tun higher to about 36hz I would remove the 6" (2nd port piece) "L" section of the port, turning it into a straight port.

Why the 33hz? I like this tuning, but you think your 28 is too low or what?
I think I may have messed up on calculating the tuning. I never took into effect all the resin I put in the box nor all the window bracing. It's probably closer to 26.5-27hz.

The Pros:

*Moves Hella Air

*Sounds very clean when listening to music at medium volumes, blends well wth mids/highs

The Cons:

*It doesn't "hurt" like bass in the 33-36hz range does.

*There's not that many songs that bump real well on that frequency.

I've been told the MT's can play a little under tuning better than other woofers (kind of like the dd's). 33hz might be a good change //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm using Kenwood 800watt to some Boston Acoustic Pro door speakers and a Rockford T30001bd thats rated at 3800rms on the birth sheet.

I'm thinking of ditching the wall and going with a long short box which will be below the window line. This box will go from back of front seats all the way back to the rear hatch.

56x36.5x16

Port is 6x35 and is 33" long

210 sq.in. of port area

12cuft

33hz

Port would be at rear of vehicle, I stager the subs because the distance between my fender wells is 36" and it's easier to fit the subs in when stagering them...
