alright I'm trying to figure out what I would be the best fit for me bc I have an ext cab truck with the dimensions of ht-26", width 20" and length 40" so how many cubic ft could I get out of that? If I'm doing the math right I think its like up to 11 ft, is that right and I want it tuned to 28 so how much would I end up having after port and sub displacment. I also listen to alot of rock so do you guys suggest any other plans? Some designs would be nice :)

i dunno if i would tune to 28htz for rock music.....thats just me personally...i had one ported in 7 cubes tuned to 28 htz and it killed rap music but you need a good front stage for it to blend for rock music....just my opinion though.

so what would be a better choice for a mix of rock and rap I wanna have the ability to get loud but at the same time be able to listen to rock, I've never really heard a "real" sub so I don know what to expect all I've had is 2 12 " l5s

nothing now still saving up for those, I was held up bc I don't want to run into power issues since I'm already running a kx 1200 on a stock Alt so I figured it wouldn't be such a good idea until I can upgrade that so another amp probably wouldn't be smart right now
