18 inch subs

MT18, XXX18, MX18, SX18, Solo X 18, there are quite a few. Need to do some research to see exactly what he wants based on what he has.

wel baised on the new info the MX will be 1500rms and new XXX will be 2000rms, i would still take a MT over them, if i hadnt of heard a MT it would be on the bottom of my list , but its crazy and sq on it is pretty good for how loud it is

I don't see how any one could recommend a sub that no one has even heard or seen yet.

i take it ur referring to the new XXX and MX? Look at the specs and you can decide for yourself.

my MT has hardly any xmax and yet its crazy loud

^^^^ true stuff xmax and rms does very little for me in most cases yea 54 xmax is pretty crazy but the mx I can't remeber what the xmax was but it wasn't anything astonishing and the xxx is known for it's sq not how loud it gets now yes it does get loud but nothing close to a solo-x or mt. And i really got off that xmax craze when I found out l7's xmax is only around 13,15 one-way and they will get louder then most subs with double there xmax so.

xmax does matter for displacement.

okay but again i would not buy a subwoofer based on its xmax and think its going to be what I'm looking for a 15" L7 xmax-13,14 will get louder then a orion H2 xmax-29.5 brahma xmax-27

i know my MT will be pretty loud and ill look back at it and its maybe moving 1/4 inch maybe less, ive hardly seen it move over an inch yet it can move some air and get crazy loud
