well I'm looking to upgrade my system and decided I want to try out an 18 so I wanted to know what the differnces between these three would be. Ive got a kx1200 rated at close to 1500 on a stock charging system. I want it to mainly get loud but the thing is I also listen to alot of rock so I'm leaning towards the Q becuase I heard it has great response to quick bass. This will be going in the back of an ext. Cab truck.

Also I have no experience with 18s I currently have two 10s, so would should I expect?

get the 18" Q and put it in a big box tune it low 8cf tuned to 30-32hz

Yea supposedly the Fi Q really sounds nice on the lows....

I dont have any personal experience with them, but from what I read it does

DD all day with 2500... do dual 4s and strap 2 amps to it and it will WHALE... peeps do 146-148

I used an 18" Q in 7.5cuft tuned to 30hz I liked it. I needed something louder so I sold it. for some DCs

alright thanks guys I think I'll go with the Q bc of the quick response with bass drums since I listen to los of rock.

Has anybody here played any rock on 18s, should it sound alright bc I know that ppl usually use 10s

I also listen to all kinds of music. and in a sealed enclosure it performs very well across the border from rock to bass testers. When i changed to ported i got less from rock music and more from rap. It depends on the application and car completely. If you go sealed you will love it i promise.
