When I was 16 I got a brand new 98' Jeep Grand with the 5.9 oooo snap..

8 months later the rear axel broke trying to do stupid offroad shit..

Ended up donating it to Dallas Can Society..

yep you're right. A friend of mine had a 97 BMW M3 coupe as her first car when she was 16 (back in 1997). Another got a Lexus SC400 coupe at the age of 16. A new civic isn't much to many parents anymore.

My first car wa s a 82 Chevy C10 pickup truck and that was four years ago... My grandpa got it for $75 from a junkyard.

Parents who buy rediculously expensive cars for their kids are just hurting their kids in the long run. All of my friends have their shit bought for them ,and none of them value it at all, they take it for granted as if it is their god-given right to have shit bought for them.
