ive been reading that if i get a 3 post battery..i shouldnt just have that battery alone to power my regular "electrical" system..

my idea is the following:

HC16v under the hood

pair of 12v batteries out back linked to the front 12v post

4 16v batteries in the rear linked to the 16v post in the front

If you are going to go that route why not run a dual alt? 1 12v alt and 1 16v. If you did that you could use the kinetik or powermaster 16v without worry of the modules and still have plenty of 12v juice for your other equipment. If you need 5 or 6 modules or more you are already talking about 5-600 bucks plus the headache of mounting them and wiring them in. If you are wanting to run the 3 posts I would talk to Erik Harbor or Rich at kinetik and see what you would need to power the amps and how they would need to be hooked up to operate smoothly. In all seriousness though the dual alt will do the best.

i wish i could do the dual alt..but i cant..i have a 97 maxima

and i will do that because it seems like the 3 post route is the cheaper route..

Possibly use the Harrison Labs flux caps? They turn your stock electrical into 18v+ into the back bank.

I've never used an accuvolt - but my pair of flux caps work great.

-50 Amp step-up power supply. Similar to Jacobs Accuvolt but is more robust, efficient, and is two phase- and it is much cheaper LOL

can you tell me how you have yours hooked up?

far as 12v 16v and then how they're linked in the rear?

Also we have a 2x event in april and i would love to meet the team think you'll come up for it?
