RE SE 15. mine eats 1200watts all day long. i curanlty have mine in a 4 cu ft box at 34 and it gets pretty dang low, but i feel in a smaller box and a little lower tuning it would have more control, and not be so **** loud!

3ft net volume is perfect for a Sundown NightShade 15" & it'll get plenty loud off 1kwatts.

My Diamond audio tdx D9 was made for small boxes and sounds good I think.

ive just heard they sound great while getting loud

i graphed 2 treo ssi 15's in 6cubes net at 32 hz and the low end extention looks promising, if i can get my hands on 2 of those fairly cheap (say less than 200 each) probably what ill go with, i just want to make sure that later on down the road when i get stupid and want to put 5k watts instead of 2k, i don't have to build another box, im on the 3rd one now, and be it thats its a truck box built for a specific truck, i can't sell them so i just end up losing the money.

They are rated for 1500watts rms but as I said will still do well with only 1kwatts. The new Sundown Z15 is rated 1kwatts rms and also does well in only 3ft net volume.

You can also try some of the focals. A few of them are very efficient and like about 1.3 or 1.6 ported

i looked up the presale on the Z15's a little out of my price range till they start floating around used, but 150.x db on the tl with 1 of them on 6k burp... thats nuts for a 1k rms sub, reminds me of the type R

Indeed... my pair of 15" nightshades breaks 150 with a little over 1kw each.
