I contacted Obsidian Audio and they said 16AWG is perfectly fine for what I am doing..with speaker wire really cheap, I'm going to go ahead and get some 12-16AWG gauge wire for the new OA15.

If I could, I would rebuild my entire system save for the wiring. Get a new OA15 D2 in a awesome box (Which I'm doing) and then get a SAZ1000D. But those amps are soo expensive. If I could find a used one for like $200, I would jump on it! Last but not least wire the sub using 12AWG gauge wiring. That would be my perfect system...

For a couple months, then you'll be like "man...I wanna get louder", end up back on CA.com and before you know it you have a beefier sub and double the power

Lets hope not, I like my hearing and I am just as satisfied with my current setup now as I was the first day! If anything I'll be back looking for some speakers and amp and a deck!

I have the perfect solution to that actually. It would work perfectly with what you have and work even better once you upgrade your stock speakers.

While I'm not a huge fan of your amp, it should do just fine in your setup for the time being.

I think you're smart sticking with a 15". 3 cubes may not be optimal, but I'd bet in a good box with the correct port and tuning, the surface area advantage from the 15" alone will prove to be louder than a 12 off the same power. 3 cubes is not "too small" by any means. Chances are these designers will find you come extra room anyway.
