This is what I was talking about! I'm selling this system to my friend, so thats why I was exploring some other sub options! Once I figure out what sub I want, I already got ssteele18 for my Box design! I just need to figure out if I need a 15 or 12..If its 15 its between a DC Level 2 15 or the same OA15

If its a 12, then I'm clueless.

Depending on how much more room you have available for an enclosure there is no need for new product. It will perform night and day different then what you have now with a new design.

I have not really seen of of his work but a blind monkey will build a better enclosure then that one lol.

Alright Decision is unanimous. Sticking with 15 (yay!). Box design is under ssteele18. I trusted my local box builder to build a good box, but that was his output. This time I'm getting ssteele18 to make me blueprints, and go to my builder and be like "AYE! FOLLOW THIS PAPER, I DON'T TRUST YOU TO DESIGN BOXES, ONLY TO BUILD THEM"

Since I'm selling my OA15 and the box, question now is what 15.

Should I stick with OA or go with a different route? DC?? Nobodies said anything about DC's LVL 2 15 yet..

It was this kid probably 18-19 years old. He's a good builder, and installer, he wired my entire car and wired the amp clean clean clean too. I'm going to him to build my box again, he's cheap and he does good work. Once again, good builder and installer, just not a good designer! I've already hit up ssteele18 for my designs.

Uhh well, yea..

He didn't strip the plastic casing around the wires..

All the wires are like they came. Rockford Fosgate 4 gauge wiring with 20 gauge speaker wire going to the sub.

Lol. You have made a point. No I like it for the right reasons, I think it sounds absolutely fantastic, even in its current box. So you can imagine how it will sound in a proper box. Yea, I'm not looking to buy right now. Which ***** because I REALLY want to pick up that sub too. I'm waiting for my friend to buy my system before I buy something else, I still got tuition to pay in like 3 weeks :\

Like I've said before, you have several options. Obviously if you can't do optimal volume with a 15, downsize. You can talk to @%1; about his XFL 1222 and see how he likes it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But like they said, your OA can do great in an enclosure that size too. As DC said, you can't go wrong no matter what you do in comparison to your current box. lol

Honestly, I think you should try what you have first. Why buy something else if it will do you justice in a new enclosure? If you're building it yourself, you're not out much in paying for a new design if you change your mind later...

Alright guys! I think I've gotten all the advice I need. I'll be sticking with an OA15, and hopefully getting every extra cubic ft I can get with the box ssteele18 is designing for me! Thanks for all the help, even though we are kind of in the same square we started on, which was I needed a new box ahhaah
