15s that hit really really low

From what I've heard the RD audio Alpha murders the lows. Not sure why people keep recommending the HDC3 when the recommended tuning for that sub is like 38 hz.
Because AQ's have NO problem playing well below tuning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Sounds like you have ZERO experience with either sub...

I'd do the SDC's and tune to 35Hz if you plan to play a lot of C&S music, otherwise for regular crap rap tune to 38Hz.

I've built a TON of daily enclosures for HDC's and SDC's, so I have a pretty good idea of what they need in a daily set up.

All tuning lower does is get you a flatter response graph. It will be a lot less peaky on higher frequencies. I tune some of my boxs(depending on driver) to 28hz.
Almost every sub woofer is capable of playing the lower frequencies.

I think the OP is majorly concerned with "low end extension". If I were you I would search the forums for this. Try and find a good low end monster. Personally my Fi Q was great for this.
my RD Alpha destroyed my Q on the low end

also see if you can find an Avalanche.. really well known for low end. Aura makes a low end monster

new to box building world and building a good box is my next step so here is what i want i know there is a program that tells you what size to cut each piece of wood that help alot but i guess you guys could do the same so i want a 8cubic foot box tuned to 32hz 4cubic feet per sub is recommended could go bigger if you think i should. Length and height is not a problem and as far as ports go have no idea what ever you guys think side bottom port, two side ports, areo and what ever size you think

Helped alot so far i know this is the wrong place to ask these but do not want to make a new topic unless i have to.

Hope they work out well for you.
you seem to know a lot about RE XXX's. Currently building a custom fiberglass 5cu sealed for a 15" XXX running off a Cadence Ia9. I'm in a hardtop convertible so space is at a premium. After taking out my spare tire, 5cubes is all I can get, this uses, literally, every inch of my trunk. I know XXX like HUGE sealed enclosures, but 5cu is all I can do. Do you see any huge pitfalls? Is 5cu enough, or will the sub sound like *** if I don't give it more?

thanks
