thats why i said imo....i dont think its a true 152.6 and imo its way off.Point being? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Just because your vehicle isn't as loud sealed up doesn't mean it's not possible for someone else.
Hell, my single 10" box in a monte carlo is 2 dB louder than my truck on the dash! Outlaw the truck wins though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Plus your design isn't going to maximize your output potential on the dash anyways.
http://www.sundownaudio.com/nightshade_15.htmlwhats a nightshade?
In a proper enclosure, sure, have quite a few customers running over 1500 to them daily. Especially the newer ones with longer coils and improved cooling. Will the nightshade handle more than 1500w for daily?
3 cubes + port each is the suggested space and what most people use.I checked the website but couldn't find box recommendations for ported. Curious because I want to go with 2 15's and the BTL's I have need a lot of air space. Will the nightshade work well in less than 4cubes each?
I was there. The guy you lost to is a friend of mine. I had the white ford contour in class 2. I hit 145.7? if I remember right. They don't have use a term lab no. But to give you an idea where you stand I hit 142.1 on a T.L. at the Portland comp before it.So do you guys think that my 152 number is way off or what? I have never used a TL so I have no idea what my dbs would be on one. I live in vancouver and would love to use a tl if anyone has one.
he has a 15" tho. and like half the power you doI have not clamped my *actual* power usage but with two 3000s on one 15" Nightshade I can do 152.1 legal on the dash. It is a bone stock Nightshade so it can't be a ridiculous amount of power.
So its not outside of the realm of possibility to do 152.6 with an 18" BTL if the setup is really good.
