The guy builds bad*** custom subs, I'm pretty sure he knows a thing or 2 about what works in certain situations. He may not be a hard core competitor but thats no excuse to shrug off what he says.

nobody said sealed off even with baffle some set in a bit from the baffle to get the rite wave length.

i did compete in idbl and db drag yrs ago and matter of the fact i had built the loudest trunk in idbl yrssss ago, but who cares im a old guy who had my car in comps when most of were breast feeding,

now i still have 2 trunk cars with drop in box single sub doing mid 40s legal.

not yet but i do high 140s on 3500 on bad electrical lol regular subs port back ...seen many 150 trunks on mo where near 7k
