a few weeks and im geting 3 more batts and im building my own bus bars 1 inch thick alum

He would have been lucky to see 6k from the 4 2200's, if the Hifonics amp actually does 10k, he may see 8k. My dislike for the amp has nothing to do with him, it is just a personal opinion. But either way he will get more power for daily use from the Hifonics....

They key phrase in your reply is 'if the Hifonics actually does 10k'. Im confident his point was it wouldn't, in his opinion or experience. I dont know the amp to say either way, just (again) pointing out imp rise really doesn't apply to this comparison and you mentioning it still has me confused.

Im saying impedance rise has no affect on a direct comparison between amplifiers, and thus has no reason to be mentioned. Im sorry if I didn't make that clear enough in my previous replies.

i have the alums coils and they would want way more then that

Yes I am aware the rise will be different between the two amps. But either way there will be rise, just a matter of how much. I feel rise is quite relevant to mention. It is annoying when people my system is 20krms, no your amps are 20krms, but after rise you are maybe seeing 15k to 16k

Rise is going to be different in every instance. 1200rms you could probably expect an actually 900rms.

so why am i sending a cliped signal then if im keepin my volts above 13.5 and my gain is less then half way to a ssd and my box is tune to 34.9 with 50.2 inchs of port area. this is all bs
