we sound like 2 woman lol, im havin surgery thursday and there is a comp soon, im gona get my *** handed to me it's gona b for fun. to bad its gona cost me 40 or more. what u pay for your comp entery? 10k watts sounds good but hifonics hmmmmm
$80+

If they do 2200 each, you would be lucky to get 1500 each, just a //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Everyone forgets about rise:rolleyes:
yeap, ill be better off with the 10kw amp. btw im geting that amp for $1000

Uh........ Any amp he uses he will get imp rise, just the way it goes. If that Hifonics amp does what it says, then 10k will turn into 7.5 after rise. This is just a guess, could be 8k, but I doubt it..........
Well if you understand this, your previous reply I quoted originally, makes no sense when looked at the context. Im not trying to be argumentative, but someone said they thought the four AQ 2200's would be better than the Hifonics anyway, and your reply was he would only get like 1500 watts off the AQ's, and implied he was forgetting about impedance rise, followed by eye rolling. If imp rise applies to the AQ's, and it would, it would apply equally to the Hifonics amp, and your apparent displeasure with his opinion on amp choice, based on forgetting imp rise, really doesn't make any sense. The guy you quoted seemed to be discussing component quality and/or manufacturer rating standards, which impedance rise has nothing to do with.

Cheers.

He would have been lucky to see 6k from the 4 2200's, if the Hifonics amp actually does 10k, he may see 8k. My dislike for the amp has nothing to do with him, it is just a personal opinion. But either way he will get more power for daily use from the Hifonics....

yeah. The hifonics xxv is underrated to. if im able to stay around 14v i should see 9k+ rms after imp. wired to .5 and my imp should bring it close to 1.4 ohms
