Buddy want a good 15", more so for SPL that will have 500rms @2ohm. He said $150 would be great so im not trying to go much over that. Anyone have any suggestions?

all those are fine, no doubt, but like i said he only has 500rms and most of those subs like to have A LOT more power. Not that is a bad thing, but it seems like he would be paying more money for something that can handle more power, when he cant even power what he spent his money on to the fullest....

kicker CVR 15 would probably be less than 150 on ebay and rated for 500 RMS.

that sub will do quite well on 500watts, but can take more if he ever steps up his power...
