150 DB's for 800 Dollers?

Alright guys, correct me if im wrong here but isent this about right?

TCAB Box - $295

15' Type R - $215

Hifonics Bxi1606D - $290

Theres been numerous people metered with that setup that have cracked a 150 - 151 DB off a single 15 inch Type R in his box on that setup, im sure you guys all know about this, that just seems like the cheapest way to go if you want a 150

I'd assume it's a combonation of the aeroports placed right, enclosure dimensions of a certian size, extra rigidity offered by the fuberglass resin on the inside... And Sticker shock. Sticker shock adds 3db.

Seeing I can build a slot ported enclosure for about 35-40 material cost alone, Id rather do that... Who needs 150db anyway if it's just for daily?

Usually you just follow them to where they live...

Wait until dark...

Cut the rubber exhaust hanger (if theywere smart enough to put it on)

Stomp hard on the end of their pipe to break it off

150 db with the R 15 and tcab.. MECA style, with mic in kick, ok..

but.. with a hifonics bx1605d? mmm.. i had that amp.. and it got my subs crankin pretty good.. but nowhere close to 150db on music good...

im sorry but i dont believe that 1400-1500 watts rms will get you 150 db.. even meca style.

ive been wrong before though....

im sure u'll be close to a 50 wit a nice electrical to back it up. maybe a diff amp or some more power. the boxes are loud and u will be pleased wit the results

hmmm seems liek most people in the 150 range meca style have over 2000 rms..

liek that 151.x mentioned in the 1st post wasnt that with a colossus?
